Dé/Plaisant
2009
Project done in collaboration with the residents of a nursing home, Geneva.
Collaborative project where I asked the residents to take two images related to their everyday life : one that would express something they like, find pleasant or comfortable; the other one that represents something uncomfortable, that they dislike. The dialogical process in this work was an essential part, more than the result. What interested me in this project was to reveal how people who live in a limited space and with little privacy, perceive this space and create their own “sacred” spaces.
